This week Centre for Ecohydrology released details of its projects available for fourth year, honours and postgraduate students.

In addition to the twelve projects listed the Centre will also accept applications for independently conceived student projects, offering the opportunity for a student to pursue that interest at a higher level.

All projects are eligible for funding of up to $1000 from the Centre to cover equipment and field expenses. In addition some projects offer bursaries and summer vacation employment from the Department of Agriculture and Food, WA.

Project Coordinator Karen Holmes said "I'm pleased with the range of projects we are offering. They offer something for everyone: some have extensive fieldwork involved, others are pure data analysis and all of them have the potential to extend our understanding of water in the landscape, and to have practical applications in farm and land management."
