Adam Lillicrap

Adam is a research scientist in hydrology with over ten years experience in soils, hydrogeology, catchment management, water quality and salinity.


Adam works at the State level and his roles include:

  • Regional Hydrologist for the Central South Coast centred on the Shire of Jerramungup
  • Research into
    • The origin and extent of inland acidic groundwaters
    • The impacts of human activities on environmental acidity
    • The impacts of environmental acidity
  • Awareness raising and extension activities on environmental acidity such as workshops, field days and the publication of materials
  • The adaptation of treatment systems from the mining industry to agriculture and natural resource management to treat acidic waters
  • Development of techniques to rehabilitate areas degraded by acidification and salinity
  • Use of engineering options such as drainage to manage acidification and salinity
  • Development of acid groundwater risks maps and other decision support tools to assist land managers with the management of environmental acidity
