Paul Raper
Dr Paul Raper is a Research Officer (hydrology) with over twenty years experience. Paul holds a Ph.D. in hydrological modelling and uncertainty analysis from the University of Newcastle, NSW. He worked for the Department of Agriculture from 1992 to 1994 and again since 1995. Paul has worked in the East Yornaning, Byenup Hill, Toolibin, Boree Gully, Middle Balgarup, and Queerfellows Catchments and in the townsites of Boddington and Darkan for the Rural Towns Program. Paul provides technical support for other Departmental staff using the AgET and Flowtube models and is developing AgET data files for specific soil-landscape zones. He developed the Leakage Calculator, a spreadsheet water balance model for use by extension staff. Recently, Paul has analysed the groundwater trends across the south-west natural resource management area and modelled scenarios for selected catchments to assist in setting resource condition targets for land salinity in the south-west. |  |
